Miró Quartet serves as teaching assistants to the Juilliard Quartet at the Juilliard School.

The Müller Quartet becomes world's first professional touring string quartet.

Miró Quartet wins the Naumberg Chamber Music Award.
1845
The Beethoven Quartet Society of London presents performances of the first complete Beethoven cycle in England.
2003
Miró Quartet becomes the first chamber ensemble to receive an Avery Fisher Career Grant.
1869-1907
Joachim String Quartet is formed, performs first Beethoven Quartet Cycle in Berlin, and premieres all three quartets by Brahms.

Miró Quartet is named quartet-in-residence at the University of Texas at Austin Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music.
1894
The Kneisel Quartet (1885-1917) - the first professional touring quartet in the United States - premieres Dvorak's “American" quartet in Boston.
2005
Miró Quartet records first album of the Complete Beethoven String Quartet Cycle (Op. 18 No. 1-6).
1923
Flonzaley Quartet (1902-1929) performs their first live radio broadcast concert for RCA from studios in New York that is heard around the United States.
2012-13
Miró Quartet commissions and premieres Kevin Puts' Concerto for Quartet and Orchestra "How Wild the Sea" with five orchestras around the United States.
1935
Kolisch Quartet (1921-1944) performs the world premiere - by memory - of Bartok's Quartet No. 5 at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
2015
"Transcendence Project” - Miró Quartet releases a documentary movie of Schubert's Quartet in G major, D. 887 and holds international educational video competition.
1946
Robert Mann founds the Juilliard Quartet (1946-present) - in residence at the Juilliard School - to begin the longest running string quartet career in history.
2020
Miró Quartet 25th anniversary: Quartet Archive Project and Complete Beethoven String Quartet Cycle recording to be released.
